Slot Machine Runner

A robot lion runs on its own. You only jump and shoot. 

Every so often a slot machine rolls past. Pull the lever and it spins your character AND your weapon at once — you never know which one is about to change. Kangaroo with a freeze bomb? Skeleton with a laser? That's the game. 

Coins you collect survive death, and you spend them furnishing Sofus' den: a bed he'll actually sleep in, animal-hide cushions, a cub-cam showing the cub you rescued, and walls you pick yourself.
